Introduction Of Flame Retardant Silicone Self-amalgamation Tape
In March 2001, casac independently developed a new type of insulation material, the HB1522 Flame retardant silicone self-amalgamation tape, to meet the demands of the power industry for insulation materials under extreme temperatures, high pressures, and strong ultraviolet conditions, as well as the needs of the domestic aircraft manufacturing and maintenance industry.
In April 2013, it passed rigorous inspection and received an invention patent certificate from the National Intellectual Property Administration.
This product is widely used in the aircraft manufacturing industry and recognized in the power industry as an innovative and technologically advanced insulation material, gradually being adopted by various levels of power departments.
To date, there have been successful application cases across equipment rated at 380V,10kV,35kV,110kV and 220kV.
Features:
The tape is suitable for both low and high voltage (380V-330kV), indoors or outdoors. It can provide insulation protection by wrapping around live bare conductors and connections of any shape.
1.Temperature Resistance: It can operate continuously in temperatures ranging from -60°C to 200°C.
2.UV Resistance: Capable of long-term outdoor use under sunlight without aging or cracking.
3.No Adhesive Coating: The surface is free from any sticky adhesives, which are unstable under high temperatures and ultraviolet light. Instead, it relies on strong vacuum adhesion and excellent self-fusing properties to ensure long-term stability and prevent peeling.
4.Water-Repellent, Anaerobic, Flame Retardant.
5.Super Insulation: With a breakdown strength of 30kV/mm, the 0.8mm thick tape is suitable for 380V to 10kV, and the 1.5mm thick tape is suitable for 35kV to 330kV. For 10kV applications, two layers of 0.8mm tape can achieve an insulation effect of 20kV/mm.
6.Easy to Use: Extremely simple to operate, requiring no heating or tools.
7.Long Lifespan: Guaranteed for 10 years without peeling, maintaining its insulation strength.
8.High Elasticitty, can be stretched up to five times of its original length and will return to its original length upon release, making it suitable for insulating any irregularly shaped electrical device connections, effectively addressing the limitations of pre-formed insulation covers during installation.
